Special Pet Care & Special Grooming Services:  We provide a secure and special area just for those pets with "special needs".  For those pets who are not as comfortable within our normal pet care environment and accommodations we provide a comfortable, secure for those pets with "special needs".

​The staff at Bokhara is well experienced and trained to handle most special needs pets.

​The following is a sampling of special needs that
​can be accommodated at no additional fees: 

• ​​Medications (no insulin injections)​
• Supplements & Special Medications
• Special meal preparation (refrigeration or cooking)
• Raised Sleeping Beds W/Double Fleece Bedding
• Extra feeding times
• Food from home
• Water from home 
• Treats from home 

                         
Special accommodations are geared for those with extra needs.  Pet Grooming for your special needs pet can be accomplished outside of our normal busy grooming times. Client is allowed to stay with the pet during the grooming appointment if that makes an anxious pet more comfortable.  If additional services are to apply, we will need to discuss with you the following areas:

• Geriatric Care (may have additional charges depending upon the amount of additional care). 
• Heated Beds for those dogs suffering from dysplasia or arthritics ($2.50 per day additional) 
• Daily Brushing (depending upon the coat & condition of that coat)

We take all requests for special needs very seriously - please feel free to discuss any special requirements with us when you make your reservation and we will do everything in our power to make sure your pet is taken care of and provided for per your instructions.

Medical Emergencies:  There is a large assortment of local vets within a short distance from us and a 24-Hr emergency services veterinary clinic close by.
